Making our arbor

We have been wanting to build an arbor by the gate so we can have pretty morning glory crawl up the trellis and david built a beautiful one for me . he always does things 110% he cant make something mediocre. Evia loved handing him screws and helped him measure  boards for cutting she loves being daddys helper. we will still paint it white but he did a great job!

 

 

 Getting to big for grampa greats lap

I drew a beautiful picture of my grandma in charcoal for my grandpa for a prize and I was so excited to bring it to him. This particular picture that I drew  was a picture my grandpa has carried in his wallet ever since my grandma turned 16 years old. he still has the original picture in his wallet so sweet and touching he has carried it around for so long he truly loves her. it is so sweet. When we dropped it off we had lunch together and and aunt marilyn read evia some disney books and was loving spending time at grandpa greats.

Tummy love

 Ever since evia figured out that there was a baby in my tummy she has been doing silly things  and i wanted to post some of the cute things she has done.

1.I dozed off on the couch and evia had stuck stickers all over my tunmmy I didn't wake up or even feel her do this and woke up like a human sticker book.

2.She has stuck sunglasses on my tummy when we are outside "so his eyes don't get hurt"

3. She has taken food mostly gooey stuff like pudding and icecream on my tummy to share her food with him

4. She loves giving emerson baths and pouring water on my tummy he likes it to cause he jumps around when she does it.

5. She has taken playdoh and sticks it in my belly button she wants to craft with him even though he is not here yet.

6. She loves giving him hugs and kisses at night , but most of all love blowing rasberries on my tummy it tickles like crazy and when I laugh evia starts to laugh so hard she gets hiccups.

7. She shares alot.. i'm talking toys suckers, crayons, you name it she shares it

8. She love putting lotion on my tummy and I get a free tummy massage.

9. She sings primary songs and any song to him but it is usually with her mouth right on my tummy so it is muffled and sounds hilarious.

10. when I am hurting she comes up and shakes her finger at my tummy and tells  him "Emerson be nice to Mama!!"

 Japanese festival

 

  We went with my prego friend cynthia to the japanese festival and we made fun koi paper kites we bought evia a parasal with her piggy bank money she liked it so much I got an extra one just in case if the first one broke.

  

 there was an anime costume contest and a girl dressed up as princess peach from mario bros. Evia saw her from across the street and was so excited to see a real princess, it made me excited for her to go to disneyland and have her see cinderella and the other princesses. we had such a fun time and we also saw these japanese drummers evia loved the music and was drumming along to the beat. when we got tired we took her to city creek to play at the dinosaur playground I found my new haven and that playground is it!

Sticky fingers!

 

 One day evia came running into the living room and I freaked out cause from where I was on the couch it looked like she had stuck her hands in some ink or some black finger paint she ran up to me and said mamma look band aids!! Much to my surprise david came up behind her laughing turns out she wanted a bandaid on her finger so david put electrical tape on all of her fingers like she asked. david loved my reaction I totally freaked out   thinking if she touched the furniture it would be toast. But I do say it kept her entertained getting the tape off..
