Autumn sun catcher


Autumn sun catcher what you need is fall leaves paraffin wax and fishing line. I picked grape leaves and leaves from the park to get a variety. First take your wax and put it in a double boiler pot . Let it melt be sure to not have the water from the double boiler get in the wax it will make clumps.


Once the wax is fully melted and liquid like water take the leaf and dip it into the wax pull it out and let the excess drip off I let my leaves dry on a paper towl

Now be sure your wax is very very hot or otherwise when you dip the leaf it will go on opaque and thick like the leaf on the right as opposed to the leaf on the left. Then once the leaves are dry take some string I want to use fishing line so the leaves look like they are falling . You can use any string you want if the leaves still have stems tie the string around the stem if not just glue gun the string to the leaf. Then just hang them up in your window and voila you have a beautiful autumn sun catcher . This is a fun activity for you and for kids!

Bree got evia the owl bedding I have been eyeing since january I was so excited but what was even funnier was how excited evia was over the blanket she asked me to take it out of the package and when she saw what was on it she yelled OOOOWWWWLLLSS!! so so cute

mee ma and nana saved the day i didnt have much time to decorate we were to busy painting the house building the front porch weeding cleaning to get the house ready for everyone to look at a so thanks for helping bring balloons evia loved them even while i was posting this she was on my lap counting the balloons

Mequette wedding dress shopping

I have to say this was such a fun day dad watched evia while we went dress shopping with kt we went to this tiny store called the bridal corner in north ogden little did she know and to our amazement she would find her dream dress there. And the girl who was helping us was adorable she made the experience really fun




here is kt putting down money for her wedding dress she was so excited and also freaking out she was spending so much on just one article of clothing

here was the first dress she tried on then she found the dress of her dreams the second time there was no competition the really ruffled one was the way to go



I have to say she was the prettiest bide i had seen and me kt and mom knew that was the dress mom of course was touched and got teary it was so sweet she looked like a princess and she deserved to feel like one.and even though she still needed the sleeves and back to be made modest she looked beautiful with the birdcage veil and creme dress. she was stunning and guess what the dress was even on sale.after she found her dress we went next door to wingers and had lunch to celebrateall in all it was a wondeful day I will not forget.
