A Trip to the Coast

To start off our trip to Sarahs house we drove to boise and spent the night the next morning we woke up and out in the parking lot was An Orange county chopper bike. It was called the patriot chopper and had a all sorts of military hardware on it. It was so cool.

VROOM VROOM!!

On the way we stopped in this little town and it was very windy if you couldn't tell.

On my favorite stop we stopped at a park station that was under construction  and the scenery was absolutly stunning. Here are a few things we saw there are ferns everywhere and moss grows on everything including roofs of houses. It was so gorgous I wish I could have stayed longer it was like living in a Bob Ross painting.
With all of the happy trees and bushes.

This stump has a little tree growing in the center  this reminded me of Fern gully when she is trying to make a tree grow isn't this pretty?

The forest floor was like walking on a memory foam mattress it was so spongy and I was afraid I was going to fall through the moss and into muck. Once we got to sarahs house we set up our tent it was actually quite roomie . And for the next day we hung out at sarahs.

HMMM  Who are you?

Me and david went on a walk and sarahs driveway could give someone a coronary it is so steep the driveway is much longer than in this picture.

It was Phillis and Nates anniversary and also Nates Birthday while we were on the trip we  had a huge shrimp boil and Sarah made a nummy cake for him.

In Sarahs pond were frogs and pollywogs so we went on a hunt for them me David and Evia she was fascinated by the swimming tadpoles and it was one of the regular rituals during the day with the grand kids.

Ethan could almost be davids son  look how much they look alike . and the blonde hair wow I thought evia had blonde hair but hers is nothing compared to ethans.

Ethan loved playing and i would put a toy in my mouth and spit it out on the couch we did this forever he loved it and would laugh so so hard.and here are some pics of scenery around sarahs house.

Chris and Brittany Visit

Chris and brittany came up from arizona to visit we threw her a baby shower for her little addysson .  I hope she is a cute spunky red head . We can't wait to meet her and are so glad chris and brittany are having a liitle one. They will be wonderful parents and have had such a hard time getting pregnant that i can think of noone more deserving of having a little girl than these two. I made decorations for the shower and boy they turned out cute she loved them. I will have another post of her shower soon. but this day we had a BBQ full of hot dogs and baked beans it was delicious.

I think it is funny that chris and Brittany have the exact same tummy I thought this was a cute pic.

Just lounging about with Grandma Great

I played horseshoes with Paul Rex Chris DJ and David . The only bad part is that is stink at it I could not see the rebar post we had to aim for . I actually almost hit Rex in the head a few times so fair to say our team did not win.

After dinner Dj grabbed his friends bike . His friend Denny is on his mission and left it for DJ to look after  while he was gone. David and the other boys loved riding it around the pond and orchard . The bike was to heavy for me so david showed me how to run the tractor and I drove that around for a bit. Tractors are the bomb what more can I say!! Now I know why Mequette loves Utah State so much  he he.

My dad gave us some of his old bikes so  this ride was a nice little motivation to start working on ours.

I am living the Kenny Chesney dream  " She thinks my tractors Sexy"

While we were playing around the kids were playing in the pond on the canoe

And for dessert we had a nummy dessert i have never had it is like strawberry shortcake but it is called Trifle it has pudding strawberries angel cake and gelatin Catherine works wonders it was so delicious.

Getting ready for camping
For Davids Birthday id wanted to get him a tent but he would probably want to pick it out . So yesterday he went to smith and edwards  and went to go find a tent. We are leaving soon to head to oregon to visit sarah and we needed a good tent. Well david went and talked to the old manager and asked it the Kelty tent he liked was still in stock his boss said no but he thought the display was still in back . So he went in back and brought out the tent. His boss said well I  can make you a deal what would you want for it David said 80.00? And a deal was made .David came home as giddy as a school boy and to show how excited he was he decided to set up this tent in our living room it probably took up the whole living room. it was so cute. It is a 6 man tent and it is usually from 200.00 to 300.00 dollars. It was totally a steal. We can't wait to go I have never been to oregon but as long as we go see the tide pools I will be fine. Another thing david can stand up in this tent and not have to hunch over.

And just to be funny David found a light to hang at the top of the tent cause last time we went camping we hung up a flashlight and when I would have to get up in the night I would hit my head on the steel light no fun. Thanks babe your the best!! But he stuck it by his chest and he looked like he had the arc reactor in his chest like Iron Man which by the way is his favorite show of all time.

Happy Memorial Day!

By our house the cemetary was hosting a tribute for memorial day and they set up all of these flags on the grounds it was spectacular to come over the hill and see these flags fill you field of vision. It truly was an awe inspiring sight. Ever since we were little we were raised on being patriotic and me and breanna would even sing the star spangled together at football games and we even sang after 9/11 at north ogden junior high the governor of utah was there and we got to meet him. So seeing those flags meant a great deal to me I wanted to sing that song again.

Also on memorial day me and david headed down to musser court to work on the house. here are some of the things we got accomplished.

By the end of the day my david looked like he was from south of the border he was working in the seagull room when he started leveling out the corner where the old chimmney floo used to be. I was outside when all of a sudden I looked out and billows of ash were coming out of the front door I thought it was a fire.  I ran in to see if David was ok low and behold it was just him working on the chimney we had to let it air out for  20 minutes or so.

I love my david he is such a wonderful man he is such a hard worker and wonderful husband and father . I love working on the houde with him I noticed I feel alot closer to him and it feels good at the end of the day that I accomplished something.

This looks alot better than it did the lilac bush came out to where the grass is dead it was huge!!
